Good, Better, Best: Why It All Counts.

I’ve noticed something in so many of the women I coach: the moment they can’t stick to their ideal nutrition plan perfectly, they feel like they’ve failed.

Maybe you’ve felt it too—that all-or-nothing mindset that whispers, “If I can’t do this 100%, I may as well not do it at all.”

But here’s the truth: that voice is not from God. That’s the enemy trying to convince you to quit.

The reality is, there’s good, better, and best when it comes to nutrition. And all three matter.

  • Best might look like home-cooked meals, balanced macros, and consistent meal prep.

  • Better might look like grabbing a rotisserie chicken and frozen veggies instead of hitting the drive-thru.

  • Good might look like simply making sure you drink enough water, or adding a protein source to your snack.

See how all of them move you forward?

It’s not about perfection—it’s about progress and perseverance.

Galatians 6:9 reminds us:

“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

Even on your busiest, hardest days, choosing “good” is still honoring your body and stewarding your health. And when you string together those small “good” choices, they build into lasting transformation.

So the next time you’re tempted to throw in the towel because you couldn’t do your “best,” remember: the enemy wants you to quit. But God has given you the strength to keep going—even with small, faithful steps.

You don’t have to do this alone. If you’re ready to create a nutrition strategy that works in all seasons of life, I’d love to help you.

Keep choosing "good." Those small decisions add up to make a big impact.
